I was born in early 1987 and promptly started working as an illustrator/artist. I then got into development and graphic design, collecting a master's degree in design (visual communication) from Bergen Academy of Art and Design along the way.
Now I do contract work, consulting and comissions through my company
Make contact as early as possible. This way, we'll be able to plan ahead and get started on your project as soon as everybody is ready.
When the time comes to get started, we'll sit down and talk, in person if at all possible. We'll go over what you need and what the deadlines and deliverables are. The more information you have at this point, the easier it'll be to nail down a schedule and a settle on a fee.
Based on our inital conversation, you'll receive a contract draft for review and then we'll make changes until everyone is happy.
The terms of the contract will be different for every project, but generally there'll be contingencies for any changes that you want to make to the project along the way. However, mid-process changes will affect the schedule and we might need to renegotiate the fee.
As soon as the contract is signed, the work starts. We'll keep you up to date on the project as it progresses and send you sketches, layouts, design for review and feedback according to the milestones in the contract.
From experience, your contact person should the one in charge of the project on your end. This is to avoid "design by comittee", miscommunications and delays.
If we have strong opinions about design decision during the process we'll argue the point from a professional perspective to ensure that you get the most out of our services.
Once work is completed on the project you'll receive everything you need according to the nature of the project. We'll also keep a backup of everything for you, in case you need it further down the line.
